About me

New York License #019245, NPI #1730414764

I am a clinical psychologist with more than 30 years of experience working with toddlers, preschoolers, elementary and middle school age children and their families in a range of roles in the NYC metro area. I have worked as a clinician providing therapy and guidance to children and families in a variety of settings including private practice, child outpatient clinics, and a program serving individuals with developmental disabilities. I have also worked as a preschool teacher, an early childhood mental health consultant within preschool programs and pediatric practices, and as the psychologist supporting the social, emotional and learning needs of students in an independent school. In addition, I have conducted full psychological evaluations independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team, for children ages 2 and up.

My approach is warm, collaborative and practical, my perspective is systemic in that I consider the individual in the context of many different systems (e.g., school, family, etc...). My extensive experience allows me to draw from a range of evidence based interventions (e.g., cognitve-behavioral therapy) as I guide children and families through the process of psychotherapy. In addition, the time I have spent in many different roles contributes to my effectiveness in creating a comfortable and engaging experience that produces positive change for children and families and I welcome the opportunity to begin this journey with you!  Please click here to learn more about the range of services I provide.
